About the event
Local Landscapes & Hidden Histories is a fantastic project brought to you by the City of Lincoln Council, the Heritage Fund, and Steve Lovell Green Spaces (SLGP).
Join expert birder and keen naturalist, Stevel Lorell, for a mornign of bird watching on the South Common. You'll have the chance to spot a varity of birds such as skylarks, yellow hammers, heron and kestral as you travel through the charaxctristic, open grassland of South Common.
The walk wil be followed by a delicious breakfast roll and hot drink (included in price) here at your popular communty venue where participants can share sightings and observations and learn more about the local bird life.
These bird walks are open to all levels, from beginner to expert, and are a great opportunity for beginners to hone their skilld whilst enjoying a common interest with others.

There is limited on-site parking here at Southside, available on a first come first served basis, and accessed via Colegrave Street.
We encourage you to travel to us on foot or via public transport where possible. Where this is not possible, other limited unrestricted car parking is available in the surrounding areas, however please respect our neighbours and park sensibly if doing so.
