Norfolk’s horn driven charged angry punk powerhouse, Faintest Idea, are heading to Southside this July — and they’re bringing their incomparable energetic live performance, politically charged lyrics and heavy boot stomping beats!

Barefoot, once a monthly vinyl night for over a decade down the local pub in the West End of Lincoln that hosted some of the best DJs and collectors locally and from across the UK & Globe, each playing 30 minutes of the music they truly love. Those ten years are well documented and beautifully archived by local photographer, David Nicholson, on the event’s Facebook page along with attendees’s videos & superb memories.

Immortalised by The Two Ronnies, this Jack the Ripper parody is raspberry-jam-packed with Spike Milligan’s and Ronnie Barker’s love of surreal absurdism, clever puns, near-the-knuckle ribaldry, quick-fire jokes and famous wordplay.
