A Different Kitchen, a project fuelled by remorse and shared through personal experience. Blurring the lines between psychedelic-rock and post-punk, the Norwich-born quintet have specialised in writing thoughtful and achingly personal songs, exploring the darker side of grief, loss and social injustice. The brainchild of Felix Jordan, Eliot Clarke and James Jordan, the trio's records are refreshingly honest, embracing a vulnerability that has resonated deeply with audiences across the UK. Balancing moments of fragile emotion against an unfiltered, visceral energy, A Different Kitchen’s unapologetic live sound is both immersive and uncompromising.

Having been tipped as “ones to watch for the future” by Tom Robinson and Emily Pilbeam on BBC Radio 6 Music, A Different Kitchen built significant momentum in 2025, expanding their discography with two EPs, ‘Denouement’ and ‘Revolt’. The releases led to festival appearances at Get Together Festival (Sheffield), Brighten the Corners All-Dayer (Ipswich) and South of the Tracks Festival (Lincoln), alongside a debut festival headline at Camp Out (Norwich). The quintet rounded off the year with a 7-show DIY UK tour, including dates at Voodoo Daddy’s (Norwich), Yellow Arch (Sheffield), Hyde Park Book Club (Leeds) and a London sell-out at Dingwalls, Camden. With roots back to Norfolk, ADK were subsequently named New Music Generator’s ‘Best Rock Band in East Anglia’ in both 2025 and 2026, cementing their reputation as one of the region’s most exciting alternative outfits.
