SOUTHSIDE
Southside is a multi-faceted, grassroots venue located at the southern gateway to Lincoln. Since opening in 2022, our Grade II listed building has become a vibrant home for live music, heritage and culture, breathing new life into the former St Katherine’s Church.
Our venue is operated by not-for-profit organisation; Acoustic Nations. Our team brings more than thirty years of industry knowledge in event production, alongside almost fifteen years of delivering cultural activity in Lincoln for the benefit of its community. We nurture creativity and emerging talent across a range of art forms, presenting an engaging programme that welcomes and connects with a diverse audience.
Alongside our in-house programme, Southside is available for a variety of commercial and community hires including gigs, wedding receptions, parties and conferences. If you would like to hire Southside, please fill out our Venue Hire Form and we will be in touch.

FINDING US

On site parking is reserved for Blue Badge holders, private bookings, performers, or event organisers. Please contact us in advance of your visit to reserve a space.
For large events, we arrange car parking across the road from Southside, on the South Common.

Southside is a 15-20 minute walk from Lincoln Central train station.
Outdoor bike racks are available for use at your own risk.

Southside is easily accessible by local buses 13, 15 and 16 from Lincoln Central Bus Station, Hykeham and Bracebridge Heath to Tealby Street or South Common.
Lincoln Central Train Station is a 10 minute taxi ride or a 15-20 minute walk away.
